This coffee comes from Banko Gotiti wash station within a town by the same name in Ethiopia's Yirga Cheffe district. The town sits near the border of Gedeb, so coffees from this area are sold as both Yirga Cheffe and Gedeb. About 320 local farmers sell coffee to the mill. Altitudes in the area are extremely high with farmers growing around 1950-2200 masl. Farmers are planted in local landrace varietals.
