Rio Juanambú is a tributary originating high up in the Cordillera Central branch of the Colombian Andes where several growing areas are located. This lot is from three different farms in the area of Buesaco, Nariño. The department of Nariño is located in the southwest part of the country with Ecuador to its south and the Pacific on its west.

Each of farmers processed their own coffee. Close to the equator, growing altitudes in this region are very high and it is common to see coffee grown above 2000 meters above sea level.
