“Umoja Wetu” translates to “Our Unity” which is the name of a coffee producer group in South Kivu, Congo. This year the group is building two wet mills (processing stations) in close proximity to a Ugandan exporter who helps them by providing training to farmers and payment incentives that promote and incentivize quality. Growing altitudes are around 1400-1700 masl.

This coffee is a lighter roast. Sweet cup with complex smattering of spices and dried fruits in cooling cup; notes of cardamom, clove, cinnamon, dates, dried tropical fruits, and Earl Grey tea.
