Suyatal, Nicaragua 12 oz. bag

17.00

Finca Acopio Suyatal is located in the Dipilto region of northern Nicaragua near the Honduras border. This region provides some of the best coffee growing climates in Nicaragua. Coffee was grown at 1200 - 1400 masl., and is of the Maracaturra varietal which is a large bean hybrid of Maragogype and Caturra varietals.

This coffee is a lighter medium roast, very approachable, and a great everyday drinking coffee. Dry grounds are rich, smelling of chocolate cake, candied nuts, and maraschino cherries. Adding hot water brings out aromas of caramel, cereal, and cocoa. The cup is well-rounded with big body and soft acidity. Cocoa nibs, nuts, and toasted grains are found in the hot cup, but as this cup cools out comes notes of cherry, dried apple, and orange zest; raw sugar sweetness throughout.

This coffee is part of our Farm Gate pricing program.
