Santa Luzia, Brazil 12 oz. bag

16.00

Fazenda Santa Luzia is in the Campos Altos growing region of Brazil. Growing altitudes on the farm are around 1200 masl. The farm is planted in several different varietals, this lot is Red Bourbon. This lot has been natural processed, meaning that ripe coffee cherries are picked and laid out to dry for about 30 days before having the dried cherry and parchment removed. This lot is a peaberry separation.

This coffee is a medium roast. Dry ground fragrance smells like unrefined sugars and roasted nuts. Adding hot water brings out aromas of caramelized sugars, more roasted nuts, and faint dried fruits. The cup is as you would expect, heavy roasted nut tones, notes of cocoa, and subtle fruit accents.

This coffee is part of our Farm Gate pricing program.
