La Lesquiñada, Honduras 12 oz. bag

17.50

La Lesquiñada is a farm in western Honduras sitting at about 1600 m. owned and ran by brothers Walter and Sergio Romero. A few years back rust fungus devastated the region causing them to chop down almost their entire farm and replant with rust resistant varietals. With plants about 4 years old, this is only the farm’s second year of production since the rust outbreak. We got coffee from them last year and we’ll continue to purchase coffee from the Romero brothers as long as it continues to taste great and help them make a full recovery from the rust devastation.

This coffee is a medium roast. Expect a cup with wonderful bitter/sweet balance and mild acidity with flavors of brown sugar, high % cacao, spice and fruit accents.

This coffee is part of our Farm Gate pricing program.
