La Esperanza, El Salvador 12 oz. bag

17.50

Finca La Esperanza is a farm located on the steep slopes of Santa Ana volcano near the town of Santa Ana, El Salvador. The farm is operated by Don Pedro Antonio whose father inherited the land and ever since the family has reinvested in the farm and acquired surrounding parcels of land, expanding their farm. This coffee comes to us via a project by a local mills to identify top quality coffees, sell them as microlots, and pay farmers premium prices, whereas previously these coffees were lost in large regional blends.

This coffee is a light-medium roast. Dry grounds smell like almond, raw sugar and honey. Aroma of wet grounds is much like the dry grounds, almond, raw sugar, and honey. The cup is very clean, base flavor of raw almond and honeysuckle-like nectar, nice lemon/green apple vibrancy.

This coffee is part of our Farm Gate pricing program.
