Cabrejo, Guatemala 12 oz. bag

18.00

Finca Cabrejo is a farm near the picturesque town of Antigua in Guatemala’s central highlands. Antigua is probably Guatemala’s best known growing region as well as one of the world’s best known and renowned coffee growing regions. Growing elevations on Finca Cabrejo stretch from 1,535 up to 1,920 meters.

This coffee is a lighter roast. Dry grounds display unrefined sugar sweetness with smells of caramel, cinnamon, chocolate cake, walnut, fruited accents akin to date and fig jam. Aromas of wet grounds are much like dry grounds, unrefined sugar sweetness, notes of molasses and brown sugar, smattering of vanilla and baking spices. The cup is exceptionally balanced with wonderful complexity and well weighted body; core flavor of raw sugar, caramel, and walnut, brown sugar sweetness, apple-like acidity, notes of orange candy, accents of fig, date, raisin, and plum in the cooling cup, German chocolate cake suggestions in the finish.
