Buesaquito is a town high up in the Andes in southwestern Colombia. Growing altitudes range from 1800-2000 masl. The three farmers who contributed to this lot are part of a farmers association that formed when the ownership of their former association was turned over to a group far outside the region. In an effort to keep things local and transparent these disenchanted farmers banded together, pooled their resources, and set up a milling operation of their own in the town of Buesaco.

This coffee is a lighter roast. Expect a cup with a strong foundation of caramel both in sweetness and flavor, nice acidity, fruited notes of red apple and pear, bittersweet chocolate finish.
