Agaro, Ethiopia 12 oz. bag

This coffee comes from the Duromina Cooperative in the Agaro Woreda of the Jimma Zone in south-western Ethiopia. Agaro, formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Gomma, boasts coffee growing altitudes of 1900-2100 masl. With the help of an NGO the Duromina Cooperative was formed by farmers who were geographically isolated and struggling to get their coffee to market. NPR did a story on Duromina calling it the “Cinderella of coffee”. Click here for the story.

This coffee is a light roast. Expect a sweet cup with lots of flavor, florals, stone fruits, and citrus; notes of violet candies and rose, star fruit, nectarine, orange and lemon.

This coffee is part of our Farm Gate pricing program.
